We believe that quality learning outcomes are the result of a robust understanding of adolescent characteristics, learning styles and social emotional attitudes.

Great care is taken to maintain an open, relaxed and enjoyable learning environment. This is simply because students who find the learning environment socially conducive and enjoyable are far more likely to be more excited and more importantly, able to be engaged in learning.

Apart from being focused on the academic aspect of school, our teachers take genuine interest in their students and pastoral care is practiced by all of us as part of the school culture to over-deliver and guide the personal development of students.

The emphasis at Sri Emas is on understanding the learning process and leveraging on experiential and accelerated methods to develop lifelong learners. Our teachers use an abundance of learning tools incorporating simulations, games and activities that relate to the real world to help make learning relevant and to increase students' confidence and self-esteem.

Students are exposed to wide-ranging learning methods and resources with an awareness of their dominant learning styles. At Sri Emas, learning is a thrilling voyage of guided discovery.

With the dedicated aim to develop leadership capability in each student, academic streaming and class rankings are nonetheless eliminated. Instead, there is a culture of community, where the spirit of "Don't compete, just win" is celebrated. With the understanding that humans are social beings that learn best in real-life activities with other people, emphasis is made on group work and the development of social emotional skills.
